Inspired by lives and reigns of the Catholic Kings, Isabel is considered the best historical series on Spanish television. It won the National Television Prize and has been broadcast in more than 80 countries.
In this series Sara Rivero plays Beatriz de Bobadilla y Osorio, a Castilian lady nicknamed “The huntress” as much as for her father’s profession, great hunter for the king, as for using her beauty to prosper in power. During her stay in court she was alleged to have had an affair with the King Don Fernando, thus entering into a spiral of desire, disloyalty and greed.
Isabel has garnered a great number of awards and nominations in major festivals around the world, such as the ACE Awards of New York, the World Media Festival or International TV Programs and Films: New York Festivals Awards.
